I started teaching dance at a local theatre to children while I was in University, which was an amazing opportunity to work with young dancers and performers. I spent four years on my university hip hop team coaching and performing. I grew up on sports and dance teams, which helped me to appreciate the social aspect of dance and fitness. It made me really appreciate the benefits of fitness beyond just the health aspects.
I choreographed two mainstage productions at my University and fell in love with teaching and choreographing for actors, that may never have tried dance, but really enjoyed the opportunity to perform.
Once I graduated I knew I wanted to study more about fitness and continue to bring the joy of dance and fitness to dancers and non-dancers. I have decades of jazz, modern, contemporary and musical theatre training.
Over the years I've spent time in a belly dance troupe (American Tribal) and since moving to London I've become a pole and aerial hoop addict. I love working with people and I really enjoy helping people learn new things and achieve their goals.
