There are so many things to be nervous about on your big day... your first dance should not be one of them. The Factory's First Dance dance specialist Ivania has coached hundreds of couples for their "First Dance".

Ivania started dancing at the age of 5, training in Ballet & Contemporary and danced professionally until 1999. Since then, she has re-trained in Latin & Ballroom which she has now been teaching for nearly a decade. Ivania is qualified in Ballroom (Associate of Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Highly Commended) and her passion for teaching earned her a Jack Petchey Award in 2002.

Teaching/choreography credits include: National Youth Theatre, College of North West London, Polka Theatre, London Workshop Company, Sixty Plus, Soho Theatre, Hafad (Hammersmith & City Action on Disability), amongst many others.

She loves choreographing and teaching wedding dances, specially that moment in which couples discover that not only they can dance but they actually really love it!

Reviews

"Given our complete lack of ability and experience, we were rather nervous about the prospect of taking to the floor for our first dance... We were so pleased that we had lessons. Ivania was a fantastic teacher: very friendly, always encouraging and endlessly patient. We could not recommend her highly enough." SARAH and ANTON

"Ivania is without a doubt a brilliant dance teacher. She is so patient and encouraging and makes the extra effort for everyone that she teaches. We had such a wonderful experience learning our wedding dance from her and received so many compliments from our friends and family on our choreography. We are so glad that we chose to learn our first dance with Ivania and we would absolutely recommend her to any prospective students." JOY and TIAN
